Role: Java Technical Lead - React

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid)
Employment Type: W2 Contract Only

Candidates must be local to Jersey City, NJ, or nearby and willing to work onsite in a hybrid model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of full-stack applications using Java and React.
• Develop robust backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
• Build responsive, reusable, and high-performance user interfaces using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Drive technical architecture, code reviews, coding standards, and best practices across the development team.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex application issues and ensure performance, scalability, security, and reliability.Candidates must be local to Jersey City, NJ, or nearby and willing to work onsite in a hybrid model.
• Mentor developers, provide technical guidance, and support sprint planning and delivery.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines, version control, automated testing, and Agile development processes.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Java and React — both are mandatory.
• Extensive experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Strong React.js skills, including component development, hooks, state management, and frontend performance optimization.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and making architectural decisions.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
