SEN / SEND Tutor | Maidenhead, Berkshire, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are seeking dedicated and passionate SEN/SEND tutors to join an impactful organisation that is transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant difference in the community by supporting disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners.

The Role

• Provide in-person, remote, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 - KS5 by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan lessons, report on activities, and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Work with local authorities and schools to improve educational standards for young people with diverse learning needs.
• Engage with pupils with a range of needs including MLD, SLD, and PMLD.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
• A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD.
• Familiarity and experience teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• An Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed).
• Knowledge of safeguarding principles and creating a safe learning environment.
• Right to work in the UK.
