We're working with an established UK technology organisation delivering innovative software solutions to the insurance market. As part of continued growth, they're seeking an experienced Product Owner to take ownership of their core claims platform and play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of the product.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Product Owner who enjoys balancing product strategy, stakeholder engagement, and agile delivery. You'll have end-to-end ownership of the product vision, roadmap, and backlog while working closely with development teams, clients, partners, and senior leadership.
The Role
As Product Owner, you'll be responsible for ensuring the claims platform continues to evolve in line with customer needs, regulatory requirements, and market opportunities. You'll act as the voice of the product, driving innovation and ensuring delivery teams remain focused on high-value outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:

• Defining and owning the product vision, roadmap, and strategy.
• Managing and prioritising the product backlog based on business value and ROI.
• Leading agile delivery teams and supporting successful sprint and release planning.
• Working closely with clients to understand requirements and translate these into scalable product features.
• Collaborating with claims, fraud, finance, and supplier-network stakeholders to develop integrated solutions.
• Supporting pre-sales activities, client demonstrations, tenders, and product presentations.
• Researching industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to drive product innovation.
• Identifying growth opportunities and creating compelling business cases for future investment.

We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

• Proven experience as a Product Owner within software, SaaS, InsurTech, or insurance environments.
• Strong understanding of the insurance claims lifecycle, including FNOL, triage, validation, reserving, settlement, payments, recoveries, and subrogation.
• Experience developing product roadmaps and prioritising work based on customer and commercial value.
• Strong Agile and Scrum experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage senior leaders and external clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• A passion for technology and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
