Solution Architect Lead - D365/Power Platform/Azure

Introduction

Our client, a District of Columbia health and human services agency, requires a senior, deeply hands-on Solution Architect to serve as the technical design authority for its federally certified Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS). The CCWIS is a person-centric, AI-enabled platform built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform, hosted in a Government Community Cloud (GCC) tenant with Azure services operating in the commercial cloud.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the authoritative platform architecture
• Design cross-cloud architecture between GCC and Commercial Azure
• Lead AI and agentic development efforts
• Ensure application and platform security
• Manage continuous improvement and release management processes
• Oversee data, interoperability, and federal reporting requirements
• Engage with stakeholders and senior leadership

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 16+ years of progressive IT experience
• 8+ years of solution or enterprise architecture experience
• 7+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE / Power Platform experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
• TOGAF 9/10 certification
• Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate
• CISSP or CCSP (ISC²) certification
