IT Systems Administrator

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a very well-established business, supporting across different UK sites, with some UK travel involved.

The role is based on site, in Plymouth. Reporting to the IT Manager.

This is a 1st & 2nd line Support role for all company users worldwide with IT Infrastructure maintenance.

Main Duties:

·Monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting a secure computer environment.

·Performing the planning, coordination and execution of software and hardware installation, configuration, maintenance and upgrades.

·Providing technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about software, hardware, systems and infrastructure.

·Manage work to meet milestones in accordance with the project plan and keep management and project managers informed of issues and status'

·Working collaboratively with colleagues, managers, and relevant stakeholders.

·Complying with organisational policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.

·Undertaking any other reasonable duties appropriate to the role.

Essential Experience:

Experience administering infrastructure and networking of company systems:

·Workstations, Printers and Peripherals o Office 365

·Virtual Servers (Hyper-V / VMware)

·VOIP Telephone Systems

·Wireless Infrastructure Management

·IIT Infrastructure Maintenance

·Provide 1st and 2nd line support for all company users worldwide

·Purchasing – IT Equipment & Printer suppliers.

·Must have a UK driving licence

·Able to travel without the UK when required

·H&S responsibilities (Manufacturing environment)

Desired Experience:

·SAP HANA Experience

·Windows Server, Office 365, Active Directory

·Ubiquiti and Fortinet Networking
