Role Overview

You will be responsible for deploying, maintaining, and scaling the core engineering project management and tooling platforms, primarily centered around GitLab. This includes architecting comprehensive CI/CD pipelines, managing centralized artifact registries, and deploying critical SAST and code quality tooling. You will have the opportunity to establish the foundational development standards and automation frameworks from the ground up to support the rapid delivery of secure products.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of experience deploying, configuring, and managing GitLab (or similar) in production environments, including stress testing and validating backup and restore procedures

• Strong expertise in designing and maintaining complex CI/CD pipelines, including umbrella pipelines that trigger container builds, Helm packaging, and RPM builds

• Experience deploying and integrating SAST tools (such as Coverity or Semgrep) and image vulnerability scanning directly into automated pipelines

• Proficiency in setting up and managing artifact registries, including container registries, Helm chart repositories, and RPM repositories

• Experience establishing development environment standards, including branch strategies, conventional commits, code review standards, and pre-commit hooks

• Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines for cross-compilation (Windows, Linux, macOS) and project scaffolding, such as Rust workspaces

• Familiarity with integrating test automation, such as configuring QEMU/KVM boot testing within CI pipelines

• Experience with build signing and secret management (e.g., Vault integration, Microsoft ELAM/PPL registration) is a plus

• Experience building ML specialization pipelines (model distillation, pruning, or quantization) is a plus

We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our employees’ health, well-being, and long-term success. The expected salary range for this position is $150,000 – $250,000 per year. Within this range, individual pay is determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
