Qualifications && Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 3+ years • Total Compensation: $224k+ yearly Job Description: • Design and develop scalable Python-based backend components for autonomous agent platforms. • Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications efficiently within Kubernetes environments. • Construct Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and reusable tool-calling li braries to interface with APIs and microservices. • Implement strict AI safety guardrails, including prompt injection defenses, data scrubbing, and output validation pipelines. • Collaborate across engineering teams to expose and integrate services and databases with AI agents. • Develop automated testing pipelines tailored for non-deterministic AI outputs and enterprise workflows. • Utilize modern CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Linux environments to maintain robust software delivery standards.

Telework: This position supports a hybrid schedule requiring an average of 1-2 days per week on-site in Columbia, MD.
