The Role

  • Ensure educational strategies and practices are consistent across multiple nursery rooms.
  • Lead the planning and delivery of engaging activities, adapting the curriculum to meet diverse child needs.
  • Mentor and develop Room Leaders to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Oversee children's wellbeing and safeguarding, implementing necessary adaptations for children with additional needs.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with parents, providing regular updates on their child's developmental progress.
  • Uphold strict compliance with all health, safety, and safeguarding protocols within the centre.

What You'll Need

  • A Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
  • Proven experience in an early years setting, particularly with supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for children and staff.
  • Experience in managing multiple rooms and teams.
  • A strong understanding of early years curriculum and development frameworks.
