We're hiring for a globally recognised technology and professional services company that delivers consulting, technology, and mission services to every major agency across the U.S. government, defense, and intelligence community. The Role
• Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, manuals, and operational procedures.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to support project management and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and subject matter experts, to gather technical information.
• Ensure all documentation complies with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Review and edit existing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with current systems.
• Maintain records of revisions and manage documentation repositories for accessibility and traceability.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, or a related field (experience may be substituted for education).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
• Familiarity with industry-standard writing styles or government-specific guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly understand and translate technical information into clear documentation.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying documentation gaps.
• Active Top Secret clearance required, with eligibility for SCI.
