Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering - Architecture (Snowflake) BI Consultant to design and deliver modern data and analytics solutions.
The ideal candidate will build scalable data pipelines, architect Snowflake data platforms, develop Power BI dashboards, and work closely with business stakeholders to deliver reliable reporting and insights.

Description:

Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines into Snowflake.
Develop and optimize Snowflake data models using Data Vault and Dimensional Modeling techniques.
Improve Snowflake performance through query tuning, clustering, warehouse optimization, and storage best practices.
Implement data security, RBAC, data masking, and governance standards.
Design and develop enterprise Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and reports.
Create advanced DAX measures and Power Query transformations.
Manage Power BI workspaces, gateways, Premium capacities, and Row-Level Security (RLS).
Implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) and establish data engineering and BI best practices.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements, define KPIs, and deliver reporting solutions.
Support CI/CD processes, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

15+ years of experience in Data Engineering, including 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience.
13+ years of experience developing enterprise Power BI solutions.
Strong expertise in SQL, Snowflake architecture, data modeling, and performance tuning.
Proficiency in Python or Scala for data engineering and automation.
Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks, dbt, Airflow or Prefect, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
Strong knowledge of Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, semantic models, deployment pipelines, and RLS.
Experience implementing Medallion Architecture and data governance best practices.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments.
Snowflake SnowPro, Microsoft PL-300, DP-600, or similar cloud/data certifications are preferred.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree

EDUCATION
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
