Safety Manager | Bremen, Germany | Hybrid

The Role

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project and product teams regarding system/product safety, including associated requirements and processes.
  • Conduct system analyses to identify hazards and risks, and to define appropriate countermeasures.
  • Evaluate safety concepts and architectures as part of overall system requirements.
  • Derive safety requirements for various technical disciplines based on customer needs and internal analyses.
  • Prepare documentation for release and ongoing safety documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Monitor and assess adherence to processes necessary for achieving safety objectives.
  • Contribute to the planning of product verification and validation.
  • Analyze verification and validation results concerning safety objectives.
  • Perform impact analyses for product changes or improvements.
  • Advance internal methods and processes for implementing relevant safety standards in development projects.

What You'll Need

  • Completed technical degree (Diplom or Master's) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Initial experience applying product safety laws.
  • Knowledge of SysML/UML and modern software development and testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency with various analysis tools.
  • Experience in quality and configuration management.
  • Experience in moderating interdisciplinary teams.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Quick comprehension, strong persuasion, and assertiveness.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
