Job Description
Seeking a Radio Contractor to support, configure, install, and maintain P25 digital trunking radio systems. The role involves hands-on field work, radio programming, network connectivity, equipment inventory, troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot radio systems and equipment.
- Manage radio fleet maps, code plugs, inventory, and system documentation.
- Support network connectivity, switches, routers, cabling, and IT-integrated radio systems.
- Coordinate with vendors and outside agencies on radio systems and frequencies.
- Assist with FCC licensing, system upgrades, and statewide implementations.
- Provide technical support and training to department staff.
