Aureol Global Connections is expanding and is currently seeking 5 talented Quantity Surveyors to join our team. In these key roles, you will be responsible for managing budget estimations, cost control, and financial management across various construction projects. Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Monitor project expenditures, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints.
- Assist in preparing tender documents, including Bills of Quantities and contract submissions.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and identify financial challenges or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to optimize cost efficiency and resource allocation.
- Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Provide support and expertise in resolving financial disputes and contractual issues.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quantity surveying.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of cost management principles and construction processes.
- Proficiency in relevant quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills for accurate cost assessment.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities for interacting with clients and contractors.
- Detail-oriented with the capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Professional membership (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is a plus, but not essential.
