TSPV - Senior System Administrator - Linux

Senior Systems Administrator Linux & Ansible - TSPV Clearance Required

Take technical ownership of complex, mission-critical ICT systems in a highly secure Australian Government environment. This senior role focuses on Linux administration, Ansible automation, enterprise infrastructure and operational continuity. Full-time onsite attendance in the ACT is mandatory.

Location: ACT
Work Arrangement: Full-time onsite - 5 days per week (no WFH)
Contract Duration: 18 months
Security Clearance Requirement: Current AGSVA TSPV clearance

Essential Tasks

• Lead the installation, deployment, configuration, monitoring and maintenance of complex ICT systems.
• Manage specialised systems administration projects, day-to-day operations and enterprise platform lifecycles.
• Provide technical leadership, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and identify operational risks.
• Develop technical documentation, assess system designs and deliver solutions supporting operational continuity.

Key Criteria

• Minimum 5 years' experience administering Linux environments, including RHEL, Debian and Ubuntu.
• Minimum 5 years' experience with Ansible configuration management and Bash scripting.
• Minimum 5 years' experience managing enterprise infrastructure, platform lifecycles and networking technologies.
• Minimum 5 years' experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus or Xymon.
