People Advisor
Location: Manchester (Hybrid 2 days in office / 3 days from home)
Salary: Up to 40,000
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

As a People Advisor, you'll be the go-to person for managers, providing hands-on HR support and guidance across a variety of people matters. You'll enjoy building strong relationships, solving problems, and helping create a positive employee experience from start to finish.
What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting managers with employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance concerns.
• Providing practical, straightforward HR advice and helping managers make confident people decisions.
• Supporting organisational change projects and wider people initiatives.
• Coordinating key HR activities, including on-boarding, performance reviews, and exit interviews.
• Reviewing and updating HR policies to ensure they remain effective and compliant.
• Using people data and insights to identify trends and support business decisions.
• Assisting with recruitment activities and HR compliance processes.
• Getting involved in engagement, well-being, and development initiatives that help employees thrive.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who enjoys working closely with people and is passionate about delivering a great employee experience. You'll ideally have:

• CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent HR experience).
• Previous HR generalist experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
• Confidence managing employee relations cases independently.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach.
