Quick Overview
Job Description
Home Instead Westminster is an established, CQC-rated Outstanding home care provider delivering high-quality, relationship-led care across Westminster and central London.
Our approach is simple: we take the time to get to know our clients, understand what matters to them, and provide consistent, personalised support that enables them to continue living safely and independently in their own homes.
We are now looking for experienced Live-in Care Professionals who share our commitment to delivering exceptional care with compassion, dignity and professionalism.
As a Live-in Care Professional, you will provide dedicated one-to-one support to a client in their own home, helping them maintain their independence, routines and quality of life.
This is much more than simply completing care tasks. You will become a trusted and reassuring presence in your client’s life, providing companionship as well as practical support.
Depending on the individual client, your role may include:
Providing companionship and building a genuine, trusted relationship
Supporting with personal care and daily routines
Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with household tasks
Supporting medication in line with the client’s care plan
Accompanying clients to appointments, shops, cafés and social activities
Encouraging walks, hobbies and continued involvement in the local community
Promoting independence wherever possible
Monitoring changes in wellbeing and communicating with our local office team
Providing reassurance and support to clients and their families
Many of our clients live in some of London’s most interesting neighbourhoods, giving Care Professionals the opportunity to support them in enjoying local parks, cafés, galleries, cultural attractions and the wider Westminster community.
We are looking for people who are naturally caring but who also understand the responsibility and professionalism required in a live-in care role.
You will need:
Previous professional care experience – essential
Previous live-in care experience is highly desirable
To be currently living in the UK and able to work in London
The existing right to work in the UK – we are unable to offer sponsorship
A compassionate and respectful approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliability, patience and professionalism
The confidence to work independently while remaining well connected to our office team
A genuine commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
What We Offer
£910–£980 per week + Food Allowance, depending on the placement and client requirements.
You will also benefit from:
Carefully matched client placements
Ongoing support from our experienced local Westminster team
Comprehensive training and development
Consistent placements wherever possible
The support of an established Outstanding-rated care provider
Meaningful one-to-one work where you have the time to provide care properly
The opportunity to make a genuine difference to someone's everyday life
At Home Instead Westminster, we believe great care starts with great relationships. We therefore look for Care Professionals who want to provide continuity, companionship and exceptional care rather than simply complete a list of tasks.
Important
We can only consider applicants who are already living in the UK and have an existing right to work in the UK. We are not currently able to offer visa sponsorship.
If you are an experienced Care Professional looking for a rewarding live-in role with a supportive local team in central London, we would be delighted to hear from you.
