Pay Rate: $55/hr on w2
Team: Security & Intelligence — Content Risk

Role Summary:

·       The Talent, Event & LIVE Security (TELSec) team provides proactive security support for original productions, live events, premieres, and talent-driven experiences worldwide. This NYC-based role combines strategic advising with hands-on security operations, partnering with Content Security, Production, Marketing, Publicity, Events, law enforcement, and external security vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Assess security risks and develop mitigation and protection plans for events, productions, talent, and content.

·       Partner with Intelligence and cross-functional teams to plan and execute security operations.

·       Manage on-the-ground security operations discreetly and effectively.

·       Respond to and stabilize incidents affecting events and productions.

·       Build relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement, emergency responders, and security networks.

·       Coordinate security staffing, logistics, vendors, and operational resources.

·       Support regional productions and LIVE projects as needed.

·       Stay current on emerging threats, security technologies, and industry best practices.

·       Provide security guidance while maintaining a collaborative, service-oriented approach.

Required Qualifications:

·       5+ years of relevant experience in security, executive/close protection, intelligence, military, or private-sector event security.

·       Proven experience in event, talent, production, or live-event security, ideally within entertainment.

·       Strong skills in risk assessment, operational planning, crisis management, and incident response.

·       Ability to make sound decisions in ambiguous, fast-moving situations.

·       Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-management skills.

·       Experience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

·       Business-fluent English; additional languages are a plus.

·       Ability to travel and work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.

Education / Preferred Skills:

·       Undergraduate degree preferred in Security, Intelligence, Emergency Management, or a related field.

·       Strong experience managing security, risk, logistics, and operational workflows for LIVE sports is highly desirable.
