The Role • Provide expert mechanical engineering support across diverse platform systems, critical marine services, and associated equipment. • Deliver essential engineering input to a variety of projects, including complex naval programmes and international initiatives. • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to define and manage platform system requirements effectively. • Maintain the integrity of system designs across different engineering contexts and project lifecycles. • Conduct investigations, impact assessments, and integration analyses to inform evidence-based technical decision-making. • Ensure the safe and efficient implementation of design changes while strictly adhering to configuration control and system integration standards. What You'll Need • Broad knowledge of complex platform systems within UK and international markets. • Solid understanding of relevant industry standards and governance frameworks (CSM, LCM). • Ability to rapidly apply mechanical engineering knowledge to a wide range of platform systems and projects. • Formal mechanical engineering qualifications. • Experience operating within a technical authority or assurance framework is advantageous.
