JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Infor Technical Project Manager with strong expertise in payroll technology, workforce management, enterprise applications, and production support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Infor WFM and UKG Payroll and the ability to lead technical teams, manage critical production issues, drive technology roadmaps, and oversee complex implementations and enhancements.

This role requires a hands-on technology leader who can work across technical strategy, architecture, production support, delivery governance, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the technical health, reliability, support model, and roadmap for payroll and workforce management applications.
  • Lead production issue triage, diagnosis, root cause analysis, remediation, validation, and prevention.
  • Troubleshoot payroll application, integration, data, access, configuration, calculation, timekeeping, and financial posting issues.
  • Perform log reviews, data analysis, configuration reviews, interface tracing, file validation, schedule reviews, and security analysis.
  • Drive issues through permanent resolution while ensuring appropriate controls around temporary workarounds.
  • Develop and execute payroll technology strategies, roadmaps, architecture improvements, and investment priorities.
  • Oversee integrations between payroll platforms, Workday, SAP Finance, banking, tax, time and attendance, and related enterprise systems.
  • Lead implementations, enhancements, releases, cutovers, go-lives, and stabilization activities.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, monitoring, reporting, self-service, and AI-enabled improvements.
  • Establish support playbooks, diagnostic checklists, escalation procedures, knowledge articles, and cross-training plans.
  • Lead and mentor technical employees, contractors, managed service providers, and vendors.
  • Partner with Payroll Operations, HR IT, Finance, Information Security, Audit, and integration teams.
  • Manage delivery plans, vendor relationships, contracts, service levels, and technology initiatives.
  • Maintain technical documentation, configuration records, runbooks, testing evidence, change controls, and audit-ready documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll requirements, SOX controls, information security, privacy, and audit standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in payroll systems, HRIS, workforce management, payroll technology, or related enterprise applications.
  • Hands-on experience configuring, administering, troubleshooting, or implementing enterprise payroll or workforce management platforms.
  • Strong experience with Infor WFM and/or UKG Payroll.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end payroll processing, including Hours-to-Gross and Gross-to-Net.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. and Canadian payroll requirements.
  • Proven experience leading complex production incidents and root cause analysis.
  • Experience with integrations, APIs, file transfers, data validation, SQL/reporting queries, testing, releases, and change management.
  • Experience leading technical professionals, contractors, managed service providers, and vendors.
  • Ability to translate payroll and business requirements into technical requirements, solution designs, delivery plans, and support models.
  • Strong stakeholder and executive communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent education and experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hands-on experience with both Infor WFM and UKG Payroll.
  • Experience with Workday Core HCM or Compensation.
  • Experience with SAP Finance.
  • Experience with Cognos, Power BI, advanced Excel, or SQL.
  • Experience supporting complex multi-entity, union and non-union payroll environments.
  • Experience with payroll technology implementations, migrations, cutovers, go-lives, and stabilization.
  • Experience with scripting, workflow automation, AI-enabled tools, monitoring, or analytics.
  • Agile, Scrum, ITIL, project management, payroll, or relevant platform certification.
