Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) with Security Clearance

Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) Location: Richardson, TX (Onsite) Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance Certification Required: IAM Level I (Security+, GSEC, GSLC, or equivalent) Overview We are hiring an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support classified information systems and cybersecurity operations. This position focuses on continuous monitoring, audit readiness, security documentation, and compliance activities while working closely with senior cybersecurity personnel and technical teams.

Responsibilities Support the cybersecurity posture of classified and controlled systems. Review and process secure data transfer requests. Manage user access requests and role-based permissions. Execute continuous monitoring and perform security log reviews. Identify anomalies and assist with incident investigations. Maintain security plans and accreditation documentation. Support POA&M management and corrective action tracking. Assist with inspections, assessments, and compliance reviews. Partner with IT, Engineering, Facilities, and Security teams to implement cyber requirements.

Support remediation and risk mitigation efforts. Required Qualifications Active DoD Secret Security Clearance. IAM Level I certification compliant with DoD 8570/8140 requirements. Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience. Experience in cybersecurity monitoring, detection, and analysis. Knowledge of security controls, network security, logging, and access management. Experience reviewing security events and documenting findings. Familiarity with SIEM and security monitoring tools.

Preferred Qualifications Hands-on Splunk experience.
Knowledge of RMF, NIST, JSIG, NISPOM, and DAAG frameworks.
Vulnerability management experience.
Experience supporting government cybersecurity programs.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
