Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based tools and automation solutions to streamline data workflows.
• Build and manage Databricks jobs, workflow orchestration, and scheduling processes.
• Develop, monitor, and optimize GitHub CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and best practices.
• Collaborate with data engineers to support ETL processes, data pipelines, and analytics initiatives.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs to automate system interactions and business processes.
• Maintain source code repositories and participate in code reviews to ensure software quality and best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, workflows, and automation solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation, deployment pipelines, and data processing systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team productivity and development efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of software development experience, including internships or co-op experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python for application development, scripting, and automation.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, branching strategies, pull requests, and source control management.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar cloud-based data platforms.
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of ETL and data engineering fundamentals.
• Knowledge of workflow orchestration, job scheduling, and dependency management.
• Proficiency with VS Code, debugging tools, and modern software development practices.
• Experience working within collaborative Agile or Git-based development environments.
