JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Business Analyst to support multiple concurrent technology initiatives across the organization. This individual will serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing business processes, and ensuring successful solution delivery. The ideal candidate has extensive experience working in a primarily Waterfall environment with exposure to Agile methodologies and possesses strong SharePoint administration and collaboration experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support multiple concurrent IT projects while balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements gathering sessions.
- Develop Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, use cases, workflow diagrams, and process documentation.
- Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Work closely with business users, developers, QA teams, project managers, and third-party vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate requirements walkthroughs, solution reviews, testing sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Manage requirements traceability and ensure alignment between business needs and delivered solutions.
- Assist with change management, training documentation, and end-user communications.
- Support project planning, issue tracking, risk identification, and status reporting.
- Participate in Waterfall project planning while supporting Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint reviews when applicable.
SharePoint Administration (Preferred)
- Administer and maintain SharePoint Online sites used for project collaboration and document management.
- Create and manage document libraries, lists, workflows, permissions, and team collaboration sites.
- Maintain project documentation repositories and version control.
- Develop SharePoint pages, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
- Support end users with SharePoint functionality and governance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 7+ years of Business Analysis experience supporting enterprise IT projects.
- Strong experience working within Waterfall SDLC methodologies with exposure to Agile practices.
- Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements.
- Experience facilitating meetings with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Teams, and SharePoint Online.
