Job Description

Head of Sales

SnapMagic is building the digital growth engine for the global electronics industry.

More than 2 million engineers use SnapMagic every year to discover electronic components and design products faster. Behind the scenes, we've built one of the world's largest proprietary electronics datasets, powering both our core platform and our next-generation AI products.

Today, we're a $3.5M ARR, seed-backed company with proven product-market fit, a well-defined ideal customer profile, and years of founder-led sales success. We've doubled revenue since our seed round, and demand continues to grow.

While engineers are our users, we primarily partner with marketing, digital, demand generation, and commercial leaders at manufacturers and distributors to help them reach one of the largest engineering audiences in the world.

We're now hiring our first Head of Sales to transform an already successful founder-led sales motion into a scalable commercial engine and can take SnapMagic from 7 to 8 figure revenue.

What you’ll do

Read this carefully: this is a builder role, not a delegator role.

  • You will personally run a high volume of discovery calls, proposals, and closes until the motion is proven.

  • You will set the standard for excellence through examples, templates, playbooks, and execution

  • You will ensure operational discipline: if it isn’t in HubSpot, it didn’t happen. You operate with total transparency and precision.

  • You will own outcomes end-to-end — missed numbers, stalled deals, and unclear signals are surfaced early and addressed directly.

The role has two phases:

  • Phase 1: Personally lead sales while refining and scaling the motion

  • Phase 2: Recruit and lead the team

Responsibilities

  • Run discovery, pricing, negotiation, and close strategic deals yourself

  • Refine and scale our existing ICP, messaging, pricing, and sales process into a repeatable commercial engine

  • Maintain a tight operating rhythm with the CEO; surface progress and risks early with clear, fast communication

  • Use data to craft compelling value stories and build ROI models

  • Become a trusted advisor to marketing, digital, demand generation, and commercial leaders at the world's leading electronics manufacturers and distributors.

  • After the motion is proven, hire and develop top reps and set the operating cadence for predictable revenue.

Who we are looking for

You do not need prior electronics or semiconductor industry experience. We believe exceptional B2B SaaS sales leaders can learn an industry much faster than they can learn how to build a world-class sales organization.

  • You’re comfortable being in the details longer than you’d like because that’s what building requires

  • You actively experiment with messaging, pricing, and objection handling in live deals and change your approach based on what works

  • You do the unglamorous work “like clockwork” (metrics, follow-ups, revenue ops)

  • You take feedback eagerly and turn it directly into execution

  • You hold yourself to standards higher than anyone else will

  • You move fast and close loops quickly with both customers and the internal team

What we offer

  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity

  • Medical, dental, and vision health insurance

  • 401(k) - non-matching

  • Commuter benefits

  • Catered lunches on in-office days

  • A sharp, low-ego, fast-moving team

How we work

  • In office Monday, Wednesday, Friday

  • Remote on Tuesday and Thursday

If you want to build a category, sell something truly new, and operate at a high bar, we’d love to talk.
