Founding Member of Technical Staff, Markets

About the Role

Join a small, high-performance team building AI-powered systems for financial markets. In this founding-level role, you will take ideas from initial research through production and help build the infrastructure and tools that make market experiments possible.

What You'll Do

• Own projects end to end, from ideation and implementation through production deployment.

• Build and extend data pipelines, trading signals, and research infrastructure.

• Develop automated execution systems and tools that help the team move quickly from ideas to live experiments.

• Work with quantitative and AI researchers on approaches to market prediction.

• Contribute across trading infrastructure, machine learning, and security as team needs evolve.

What We're Looking For

• One to five years of full-time experience as a software engineer or quantitative developer.

• A degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, physics, or a related field.

• Strong software engineering skills in Python or C++.

• Demonstrated ownership of a project built and shipped from idea to production, including responsibility for its real-world application.

• Background in areas such as quantitative development, trading systems, data infrastructure, systematic research, high-frequency trading, crypto, or fintech.

• Strong statistical intuition and comfort working with noisy real-world data.

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools and the ability to work effectively in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.

• Experience beyond narrowly scoped, single-component engineering work.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $200,000 to $300,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
