The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment, including hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders, to move shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks with precision and efficiency. • Safely position and stack containers within the intermodal yard. • Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality. • Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage daily logistics operations. • Maintain a secure and compliant work environment by adhering to all safety protocols. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position. • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs and climbing ladders/stairs. • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety. • Basic communication and teamwork skills. • Open availability for scheduling.
