Location: Northlake, TX
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking professional and customer-focused Security Officers to help maintain a safe and secure environment at a Northlake, TX location. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, staying active throughout their shift, and providing a visible security presence.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong observation skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service while enforcing site policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine interior and exterior walking patrols throughout the property, including warehouse areas.
• Maintain a visible security presence to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor the premises for safety hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations.
• Provide outstanding customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests.
• Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity reports, and other required documentation.
• Assist with access control and visitor management procedures as assigned.
• Communicate professionally with site management, fellow officers, and the public.
• Report maintenance, safety, and security concerns promptly.
• Enforce site-specific policies, including no-phone policies within designated warehouse areas.
• Follow all site post orders, company policies, and security procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Strong people skills and the ability to interact professionally with employees, visitors, and management.
• Must wear black composite-toe or steel-toe footwear while on duty.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior security, warehouse, customer service, or related experience preferred but not required.
• Experience writing reports or documenting incidents is a plus.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments is beneficial.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to conduct frequent walking patrols throughout warehouse and facility areas.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to respond quickly to incidents and emergencies when needed.
• Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout the shift.
