Advanced Software Engineer for Linux

M9 Solutions is seeking an Advanced Software Engineer to work hybrid remote/on-site on a government contract for a client located in Scottsdale, AZ. An active Secret clearance is required.
Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications or related Science, Engineering or Mathematics fields, ensuring they meet user requirements and perform efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions and troubleshoot issues.
• Design the next generation of cryptographic solutions as a member of a cross functional team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 3 years relevant experience.
• Ability to lead the software development process.
• Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges in creative ways.
• Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and positioning others for success.
• Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development for self and others.
• Experience developing Linux applications for embedded systems.
• Capable of proposing high quality and high performing solutions with minimal input.
• Skilled in embedded Linux debugging techniques.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Experience with Vitis/Petalinux/Xilinx SoC (Zynq Ultrascale+/Versal).
• Experience with SW Defined Radio or Satellite applications.
• Experience with Secure Red/Black Separation architecture.
• Experience with Docker and podman on Linux.
• Experience with Windriver Linux.

$85,000 - $101,000 USD
