Job Description

Do you enjoy creating a great candidate experience and helping to keep busy recruitment processes running smoothly? If you enjoy building relationships, delivering outstanding service and supporting people through important career moments, this 12-month Fixed Term Contract offers a unique opportunity to grow your skills and broaden your experience. At EDF, Success is Personal and this role gives you the chance to make a real difference.

The Opportunity

As a Recruitment Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our Resourcing team, helping to deliver a seamless recruitment and onboarding experience for candidates, hiring managers and HR colleagues. Your work will help secure the talent EDF needs while supporting our journey towards An Electric Britain.

Alongside a salary range of circa £28,000 to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience) with the potential for an annual bonus, you’ll work in a flexible hybrid role based from our #Gloucester Business Park office. You’ll spend most of your time working from home, with occasional days in the office to collaborate with colleagues and support key activities.

You’ll join a collaborative Resourcing team of specialists supporting recruitment across EDF. From coordinating onboarding activities to contributing to recruitment projects and process improvements, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive experience for candidates and stakeholders alike.

Who You Are

We’re looking for a Recruitment Coordinator on a 12 month fixed term basis who is organised, proactive, customer-focused and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll enjoy managing multiple priorities, building strong relationships and delivering a high standard of service. Are you experienced in…

  • Communicating effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing multiple complex processes while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Coordinating onboarding, recruitment, HR or employee-related processes
  • Understanding stakeholder needs and responding professionally and empathetically
  • Delivering excellent customer service whilst handling sensitive or confidential information
  • Maintaining accurate records, reports, and process documentation
  • Planning, prioritising and consistently meeting deadlines
  • Providing administrative or coordination support within a fast-paced customers-facing environment

To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Clearance (SC), which will, ordinarily, require you to have British residency for the last five years.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinating onboarding and pre-employment activities for EDF candidates
  • Supporting employment contract generation, right to work checks, pre-employment screening and vetting processes
  • Scheduling, arranging and co-ordinating interviews, assessments and other recruitment activities
  • Acting as a key point of contact for candidates, hiring managers and HR stakeholders throughout the onboarding journey
  • Building strong relationships with hiring managers, HR colleagues and external providers
  • Maintaining recruitment systems, reporting and recruitment-related administration
  • Supporting continuous improvement activities that enhance recruitment performance and candidate experience

Pay, Benefits and Culture

Alongside a salary range of circa £28,000 to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience), potential for an annual bonus, and a market-leading pension scheme, your package will include customisable benefits such as electric vehicle leasing, discounted gym membership, life assurance, tech vouchers, experience days, and more.
