Job Description

An Application Engineer works closely with clients to understand their specific needs and then designs, develops, and customizes software applications to meet those requirements, often acting as a bridge between the technical development team and the customer by providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the application functions optimally within the client's environment; they may also gather feedback to improve future product iterations.

Application Engineer 
This person will call on existing TEXTILE clients throughout the southeast. My client supplies the TEXTILE industry with Machinery and Accessories for Weaving, Knitting, and Finishing sectors. Equipment includes weaving creel and feeder stands for rapier, projectile, and air/waterjet machines. This candidate will be a key contributor to the Electrical and Electronics aspect the business unit. Travel is 50-70% with COMPANY CAR ALL EXPENSES PAID by Company. Base Salary plus Profit Sharing

Experience:

We are looking for a person who has experience in the Textile industry involving Electrical Engineering and Maintenance of equipment involving Electronics. Weaving experience is a plus. Skilled at flexible programming. Experience with electrical preventive maintenance. Experience with how to operate process controls within a plant. Experience with PLC programming .This person may have worked in a

Maintenance department. Textile Experience is. REQUlRED .B.S Degree Electrical/Electronics preferred .A.S degree with related experience acceptable.
