Salesforce Developer - Salesforce Platform Developer<br />Salary: £70,000 - £90,000<br />Location: Fully Remote<br />Package: Full corporate benefits package Overview<br />An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Salesforce Platform Developer to join an exciting SaaS organisation.

The role will be approximately 80% focused on hands-on Salesforce development, with the remaining 20% providing additional capability across automation testing.

You will develop, test and maintain a Salesforce-based platform, delivering reliable platform changes and supporting integrations, deployments and releases within an Agile environment.<br />This would suit a hands-on Salesforce Developer with strong Apex, Lightning Web Components and OmniStudio experience who also has experience supporting automated testing.

Role and Responsibilities Spend approximately 80% of your time developing, configuring and maintaining Salesforce functionality across a business-critical platform<br />Build solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, SOQL, JavaScript and OmniStudio<br />Translate business and platform requirements into practical technical solutions, user stories and acceptance criteria<br />Support integrations between Salesforce and wider enterprise applications and services<br />Contribute to technical design, release readiness and deployment activities<br />Spend approximately 20% of your time supporting automation testing, helping to improve test coverage and reduce manual testing<br />Develop and maintain automated tests alongside functional and regression testing<br />Investigate defects and technical issues across Salesforce development, integrations and environments<br />Support Salesforce environments, deployments and CI/CD processes<br />Work collaboratively within an Agile team, contributing to sprint planning, reviews and continuous improvement<br />Skills and Experience Strong commercial Salesforce development experience<br />Hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows and SOQL<br />Experience with Salesforce OmniStudio, including OmniScripts<br />Good knowledge of Salesforce data, security, automation and integration principles<br />Experience developing and supporting Salesforce solutions across multiple environments<br />Experience with automation testing and automated test frameworks within a software development environment<br />Strong functional and regression testing experience<br />Experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Salesforce CLI, Metadata API and CI/CD pipelines<br />Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills<br />Experience working within Agile development teams<br />Experience within a regulated, healthcare, life sciences or clinical trials environment would be advantageous<br />Desirable Experience with Salesforce Agentforce or other Salesforce AI capabilities<br />Familiarity with Heroku-hosted applications and Salesforce integration services<br />Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code<br />Relevant Salesforce certifications including Platform Developer, OmniStudio Developer, Administrator or Platform App Builder
