Title:  KYC/AML/Due Diligence Analyst
Duration: 3+ Months (Possible Extension)

PURPOSE OF JOB
 
  • Responsible for running Know Your Customer (KYC) checks, enhanced due diligence, and identifying potential risks
Responsibilities
  • Follow pre-defined processes, guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to perform audit tasks to meet required level of accuracy and productivity
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills and ability to work independently while using guidelines and SOPs
  • Perform detailed data gathering and analyze the gathered data
  • Responsible for ensuring KYC checks and completing Enhanced Due Diligence
  • Conduct PEPs (Politically Exposed Persons) screening and adverse media checks
  • Compliance with regulations and attainment of client specific processing requirements
  • Write clear and concise summary based on analysis on whether to alert account for further review or close out case
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Advanced Proficiency required in English Language for comprehension (CEFR standards B2)
  • Ability to write a summary of the key areas and justification clearly and concisely for decisions
  • 2 years minimum experience in working in KYC Operations
  • Familiar with a wide range of external data sources and third-party systems to be covered as a part of the due diligence process
  • Relevant financial service experience, ideally within risk, compliance or financial crime
  • Experience of working with high-risk client groups
  • A good understanding of effective risk management
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment is highly desirable
  • Ability to make logical decisions while auditing tasks and dealing with ambiguity in a process-oriented manner
  • Excellent investigative / detective skillset to conduct research customer due diligence
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to analyze problems logically and make rational data driven decisions
  • Ability to analyze information, problems, situations, and procedures from an operational perspective leveraging SOP, system tools, alerts, documents, and web research
  • Agility in learning new case management tool, web tools, and learning management system to onboard, continue to learn, and review cases
  • Ability to work independently and deliver against commitment
