Job Description

Are you passionate about building world-class communication products that power some of the most complex trading environments in the world? This is your opportunity to lead a high-impact product area at one of the most technology-forward financial institutions on the planet - where your vision will directly shape how tens of thousands of traders and financial professionals collaborate every day.

As a Trader Voice Product Area Lead at JPMorganChase within the Employee Platforms - Collaboration and Communication Product Line, you will own the end-to-end success of our global trader voice product portfolio. You will translate complex customer needs into a clear, prioritized product strategy, partnering with engineering, design, and business stakeholders across New York, New Jersey, London, Hong Kong, and Hyderabad. Your work will directly influence how our global workforce communicates across trading floors and hybrid environments - and you will help define what the future of that experience looks like.

Our Collaboration and Communication Product Line supports a global workforce of over 300,000 employees, delivering enterprise-wide solutions that enable effective internal and external communication at scale. We are a people-oriented team with a deep obsession for user experience, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement - and we are looking for a product leader who shares that passion.

Job responsibilities

  • Define and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy for trader voice technologies, aligned to long-term business goals and customer needs
  • Conduct ongoing market research and track industry developments in collaboration, AI/ML, and communication technologies to inform and evolve product direction
  • Identify market needs by engaging directly with line-of-business technology customers to define product scope, positioning, and value
  • Own and manage product business metrics including cost, feature delivery, risk posture, and reliability targets
  • Create and maintain the product roadmap, product definitions, and customer-facing service level objectives and agreements
  • Prioritize the product backlog with a clear, outcome-driven rationale that balances customer value, technical feasibility, and business viability
  • Lead go-to-market and strategic planning efforts, ensuring successful product launches and adoption across the global organization
  • Foster a culture of experimentation and learning, creating a safe environment for rapid iteration and continuous improvement
  • Manage senior stakeholder communities and customer advisory boards, ensuring alignment and transparency across all levels of the organization
  • Champion responsible product development by embedding strong risk management practices throughout the product lifecycle

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification on product engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience
  • Demonstrated success delivering enterprise-scale collaboration or communication technology products in a complex, global organization
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain product roadmaps, backlogs, and documentation for large-scale technology platforms
  • Deep understanding of software development methodologies including Agile, Scrum, and the full software development lifecycle
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly to senior leadership and technical audiences
  • Proven track record of building and sustaining strong partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders across geographically distributed teams
  • Experience defining and managing product business metrics, including cost management, reliability, and customer satisfaction indicators
  • Ability to translate customer insights and market research into actionable product strategies and prioritized delivery plans

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with trader voice, financial communications, or trading floor technology products
  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications in enterprise communication or collaboration environments
