Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

1. Design and develop scalable data processing and integration solutions using PySpark, Databricks, Python, and cloud technologies.
2. Develop and optimize data pipelines, SQL queries, data models, and large-scale processing workloads.
3. Build and deploy reliable cloud-based APIs and applications using AWS services and automated CI/CD processes.
4. Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot performance issues and apply secure, reliable, and cost-effective data solutions.
    

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education	Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience	6+ years of experience in data engineering, application development, or big data solutions, including hands-on PySpark, Databricks, AWS, Python, SQL, and cloud development.
Technical Skills	PySpark, Databricks, AWS, Python, SQL, Data Modeling, API Development, CI/CD
Business / Domain Skills	Big Data Engineering, Data Integration, Data Processing, Cloud Computing, Data Architecture, AI & Generative AI
Communication	Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation	Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization	Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, SNS, and DynamoDB.
2. Knowledge of data warehousing, SCD Type 1/2, distributed processing, and AI-assisted development tools.
