ITCP Software Engineer with Security Clearance

Job Description We are seeking an Expert Full-Stack Software Developer to join our team of professionals in Herndon, VA. This senior role focuses on providing technical leadership across all phases of the software development lifecycle, translating complex business needs into secure application interfaces, and acting as a technical consultant across mission-critical programs.

Primary Responsibilities • Architect, develop, and maintain secure end-to-end applications utilizing Java on the back-end and Angular on the front-end. • Transform both formal and informal system requirements into high-performance web services and complex user interfaces. • Design and implement robust database interfaces using JDBC, ODBC, or direct database connections to ensure reliable data persistence. • Manage continuous integration, test automation, and deployment workflows leveraging tools like Git, Jenkins, and Linux environments. • Create advanced architectures, technical diagrams, and software specifications to align development teams with operational goals. • Guide less-experienced engineers, lead routine quality assurance activities such as peer reviews, and drive execution within a distributed Scrum environment.

Required Skills • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph. • Expert-level experience (10+ years preferred) in full-stack software development with strong proficiency in Java and Angular frameworks. • Proven experience with web service design, development, and integration. • Demonstrated experience working within a SCRUM team supporting Lean Agile Frameworks in a dispersed environment. • Hands-on experience developing within Linux operating systems and managing source code versions through Git.

Desired Skills • Experience implementing microservices, micro-frontends, or distributed data architectures. • Experience deploying AWS cloud solutions and utilizing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Puppet. • Prior experience serving on government customer architecture or engineering review boards. • Demonstrated ability to articulate complex technical topics clearly to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
