The OIC Engineer / Administrator / Architect operates within an Application Production Support / Application Platform Services (APS) environment and owns the end-to-end lifecycle of Oracle Integration Cloud integrations — platform administration, integration development, solution architecture, and production support (build + run ownership).
This is a hybrid technical role combining hands-on engineering, OIC administration, and architecture leadership to deliver stable, secure, and scalable enterprise integrations across Oracle SaaS and third-party systems.
Key Responsibilities
1. OIC Administration (Run / Platform Ownership)
- Manage Oracle Integration Cloud environments across DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD.

- Support CI/CD deployments, migration, and release management.
- Ensure observability through OIC dashboards and logs.
2. Architecture & Solution Design
- Define enterprise integration architecture using Oracle Integration Cloud.
- Design API-led, event-driven, and hybrid integration patterns.
- Architect end-to-end Oracle Fusion solutions connecting Supply Chain (SCM) and Human Capital (HCM) processes into seamless business flows.
- Develop scalable reference architectures for hybrid environments aligning on-premises components with Oracle Fusion SCM, HCM, and Fusion Middleware services.
- Establish reusable frameworks, templates, and integration standards.
- Define security architecture including OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSL/TLS, and SSO.
- Review and optimize XSLT transformations, XML schemas, and JSON payload structures to improve processing efficiency and reduce integration errors.
- Define non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, and resilience.
- Lead architecture reviews and design governance.
- Modernize legacy integrations into scalable cloud-native solutions.
- Align integration strategy with enterprise architecture and cloud roadmap.
3. Collaboration & Governance
- Partner with ERP / HCM / SCM functional and technical teams to validate that technical designs support end-to-end process integrity, master data alignment, workflow continuity, and reporting needs.
- Work alongside infrastructure, security, and cloud engineering teams.
- Support business stakeholders during critical releases and outages.
- Provide design clarifications during implementation to ensure configuration, development, and testing remain consistent with approved architecture.
- Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, integration specifications, and architecture diagrams to support knowledge transfer and long-term sustainability.
- Establish monitoring, alerting, and incident response approaches with operations and support teams.
- Ensure system configurations and data handling meet SOX compliance and enterprise security standards.
- Drive integration best practices and governance standards.
