Xstore Senior Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Oracle Retail Xstore Senior Developer with 8–10 years of IT experience to lead the design, customization, and implementation of robust Point-of-Sale (POS) solutions. In this role, you will leverage your deep expertise in Xstore architecture, extension frameworks, and Oracle Retail Xstore Office to deliver scalable, high-performance retail technology solutions that seamlessly bridge business requirements with technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Solution Delivery: Design and deliver scalable Xstore solutions by translating complex retail business requirements into high-quality functional and technical implementations.

• Xstore Customization & Development: Lead hands-on development, implementation, and customization engagements for Oracle Retail Xstore POS environments.

• Core Framework Integration: Utilize deep knowledge of Xstore Architecture, Xstore Office, POSLog, Extension Frameworks, business components, event listeners, and transaction workflows.

• UI Enhancements (JET UI): Drive hands-on Xstore JET UI customizations, screen enhancements, interactive dashboards, custom forms, and overall user experience improvements for store associates.

• Collaboration & Quality: Partner cross-functional teams, business analysts, and QA engineering to ensure robust testing, deployment, and operational stability across store networks.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience Band: 8–10 years of overall IT experience with hands-on, dedicated focus on Oracle Retail Xstore POS development.

• Technical Expertise: Proven track record in Oracle Retail Xstore POS implementation, customization, and deployment engagements.

• Framework Mastery: Deep understanding of Xstore Architecture, Xstore Office, POSLog, Extension Framework, business components, event listeners, and transaction workflows.

• UI/UX Skills: Strong hands-on experience in Xstore JET UI customization, screen design, dashboard configuration, and form enhancements.

• Analytical & Communication: Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to translate business needs into technical designs and communicate effectively across technical and retail operations teams.
