Flat Roofing Installer

Western Montana Roofing is rapidly expanding and growing our Commercial and Flat Roofing team. We are currently seeking Flat Roofing Installers to join our in house crew to help this initiative. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining flat roofing systems on commercial and residential buildings. Installing TPO, PVC, and EPDM Systems on both Re-roof projects, repairs, and new construction.

The ideal candidate for this role is a versatile individual with experience in hot air welding, installing membrane products who can work well under the field leadership of our lead installer. Required a minimum 1 year of Roofing Experience

Duties

• Tear off of existing Roofing Systems
• Install various flat roofing materials such as TPO, PVC, EPDM to specific install instructions and Manufacturer standards (we typically install Carlisle, Mulehide, or GAF systems)
• Communicate with Business and Homeowners regarding the progress of the job, material or change order needs, or any issues that may arise.
• Familiarity with GAF, Mulehide or Carlisle Warranty Requirements is preferred but not required
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on existing flat roofs to prevent leaks and structural issues.
• Load Materials and Tools on to roofs using a telehandler, ladder or other necessary means
• Ensure tools and materials are ready for each job
• Maintain jobsite cleanliness

• Proficiency in hot air welding. Both Hand Welding and Machine Welding
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools.
• Strong understanding of roofing systems, waterproofing techniques, and restoration processes.
• Experience with construction site safety protocols and OSHA requirements
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for roofing installation projects.
• Ability to work from heights, and in all weather conditions.
