Job Description

Hotel Royal Oak is seeking to hire a Hotel Housekeeping professional to join our team. As a Hotel Housekeeping staff, you will play a critical role in the daily operations of our establishment. Your goal will be to create a clean and orderly environment for guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our reputation. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve these goals and keep the Hotel Royal Oak facilities fresh and new.


Responsibilities

  • Clean and tidy all areas of the hotel, including guests rooms, public areas, reception, and other facilities as needed.
  • Maintain the standards of cleanliness and orderliness of all areas under your care.
  • Monitor and report any maintenance requirements necessary for the maintenance of optimum cleanliness of hotel facilities.
  • Restocking and ensuring guest room amenities are appropriately laid out to meet the hotel's hospitality standards.
  • Make beds, vacuum carpets, and generally maintain an inviting and neat environment in guests' rooms.
  • Ensuring that all laundry facilities, supplies, and equipment are in good working conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures, and safety standards of the hotel.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in housekeeping duties.
  • Ability to prioritize your workload, balance competing demands and work with minimal supervision.
  • Organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English - ability to communicate with staff and customers.
  • Attention to detail with a focus on maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts and potentially, weekends.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
