Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Power Electronics Engineer to provide technical leadership in the development of advanced power conversion and embedded control systems. This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer who enjoys solving complex hardware challenges, mentoring technical teams, and driving sophisticated electronic products from initial architecture through production release.

As a senior member of the engineering organization, you will serve as a key contributor to next-generation power electronics initiatives, influencing technical direction while remaining hands-on with design, validation, and system optimization. This position offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of technologies, including high-power electronics, FPGA-based control systems, embedded processors, and precision analog circuitry.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline required.
  • 5+ years of experience designing and developing electronic hardware at the board level.
  • Expertise in power conversion architectures and power management systems.
  • Experience developing high-performance analog and digital electronic solutions.
  • Strong understanding of embedded processing platforms and FPGA implementation.
  • Experience with the complete PCB development lifecycle, including requirements definition, schematic creation, layout collaboration, manufacturability, and testing.
  • Proficiency using circuit modeling and simulation tools to validate and optimize designs.
  • Hands-on expertise using laboratory instrumentation for characterization and troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
  • Experience serving as the lead engineer for complex hardware development programs.
  • Knowledge of magnetic component selection and optimization.
  • Experience with closed-loop control systems and advanced feedback methodologies.
  • Ability to mentor engineers and provide technical guidance across projects.
  • Experience transitioning products from engineering development into manufacturing environments.
