Senior FP&A Analyst / Contract / Hybrid / Mountain View, CA

Our client, a leader in FinTech, is looking to hire a Senior FP&A Analyst. This is a hybrid role that will be onsite 3x per week in Mountain View, CA.
*This is 6-month W2 contract with benefits & paid holidays!
As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will partner closely with business leaders and executives to deliver actionable insights, support investment and resource planning initiatives, and improve financial performance through data-driven recommendations across PR, Marketing & Communications organizations.
What You Will Be Doing

• Analyze financial performance and business results by collecting, monitoring, and evaluating financial and operational data
• Develop forecasts, budgets, and financial models to support planning and decision-making activities
• Establish and maintain standard cost methodologies and analyze operational cost drivers
• Compare actual performance against forecasts and plans, identifying risks, opportunities, and key business trends
• Perform variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations to improve financial outcomes
• Prepare executive-level presentations, dashboards, and reports that communicate complex financial data in a clear and compelling manner
• Support investment management and resource planning initiatives across the organization

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Experience in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and business performance reporting in Excel
• Prior experience with EPM, Oracle, Power BI, and Tableau

Desired Skills & Experience

• Prior experience in FP&A across PR, Marketing, Communications, or similar departments
• Experience acting as a strategic advisor to senior, executive, and/or C-Suite leadership
