NDT LVL II

• NDT Level II qualified candidates must have documentation to support qualification integrated with 3 -5 years of experience. VT, PT, and MT NDT are the minimum requirements or must have Level II in at least three testing techniques.
• Knowledge of shipboard structures and systems required, must be proficient in blueprint reading/interpretation, and QA systems.
• UT and or ET inspection qualification is highly desired but not required.
• Wage will be commensurate with qualifications and experience level. Must have a clean background, DBIDs/Rapid-Gate eligible, and have reliable transportation.

Duties:

• Performs calibrations, nondestructive testing, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record results.
• Qualified and able to set up and calibrate equipment, and interpret/evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
• Understand the scope and limitations of NDT methodology and exercise responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of Assistants and Level I Technicians.
• Organizes, documents, and reports the results of the testing IAW. the applicable codes or standards.
