Position Title: Contract Specialist

Job Description:
Client is seeking a Contract Specialist who will manage and streamline the execution of MOUs, MOAs, vendor contracts, and other agreements. They will work closely with business leads and partners to draft contracts, and other agreements. The contracts writer will proactively coordinate with legal, privacy and security, finance, and procurement teams to ensure that all required information is provided, issues are addressed, and agreements satisfy the respective team’s requirements. The contracts writer will develop and maintain an organized repository of all agreements and related documentation and collaborate with business leaders to ensure programs and services are aligned with related agreements.

Required Skills:
- 7 years of Extensive experience drafting and executing MOUs, MOAs, vendor contracts, and other agreements.
- 5 years of Familiarity with legal, privacy and security, finance, and procurement processes, preferably in the health IT sector.
- 5 years of Extensive experience maintaining organized document repositories in SharePoint.
- 5 years of Familiarity with health IT programs and services, preferably related to interoperability and health information exchange.
- 3 years of Familiarity with the administration of Medicaid Advance Planning Documents and other federal funding processes.
