The Role

• Operate heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to load and unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks
• Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard
• Stack, move, and organize containers, ensuring accurate and safe handling
• Perform pre- and post-use equipment inspections to ensure operational safety
• Communicate effectively with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate tasks
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is required
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail
• Basic communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and climb ladders/stairs
