Senior Risk Manager

The role will focus on developing and overseeing the Product Approval Process, providing independent second opinions and advising senior stakeholders on product design, performance and strategic alignment. You will also conduct independent risk reviews across underwriting strategies, pricing models and portfolios, providing effective challenge to support key business decisions.

You will have the opportunity to operate at a strategic level, contributing to enterprise-wide risk management, strategic planning and governance. The role will also involve leading the Stress and Scenario Testing process, maintaining the Insurance Risk Management Framework and overseeing areas including reinsurance mitigation and non-investment credit risk.

The ideal candidate will have extensive UK General Insurance experience, ideally with a background in pricing and exposure to Personal & Commercial Lines. Strong leadership, stakeholder management and strategic thinking skills are essential, with the ability to influence senior management and translate complex risk considerations into clear business recommendations.
