Job Description

Mechanical Engineer - Building Services<br />Leeds<br />£50,000 per annum<br />Service Service is recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join a leading property and engineering consultancy based in Leeds.<br />This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to take the lead on the design and delivery of mechanical building services projects across a diverse portfolio of public and private sector developments. The role offers a mix of design, project management and client liaison, with excellent opportunities for professional development and hybrid working.<br />Key Responsibilities

  • Design and manage mechanical building services projects from concept through to completion
  • Produce drawings, specifications, tender documentation and budget estimates
  • Manage contracts and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Promote the use of renewable and energy-efficient technologies
  • Carry out site surveys, condition reports and asset inspections where required
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams
  • Monitor project performance and maintain high technical and quality standards
  • Support continuous improvement and mentor junior team members where appropriate<br />About You
  • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Membership of CIBSE or working towards Chartered status
  • Previous experience managing mechanical building services projects
  • Strong understanding of building services design and contract administration
  • Experience delivering refurbishment and alteration projects
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and industry-standard engineering practices
  • Full UK driving licence<br />What's on Offer
