Job Description

Designer Staff | Caroline County, VA, United States | Hybrid

We're hiring on behalf of a leading global organization at the forefront of innovation in power and technology for critical infrastructure. The Role

  • Develop comprehensive and accurate physical layouts for electrical, communications, and other systems.
  • Create 3D models of pathways and circuiting based on engineering designs and specifications.
  • Adjust equipment layouts to align with engineering designs and VDC lead direction.
  • Participate in design coordination processes and resolve conflicts.
  • Produce coordination/shop drawings, installation details, and supporting sketches for field installation.
  • Analyze electrical drawings, specifications, and submittals.

What You'll Need

  • 8+ years of commercial electrical field experience and/or experience as a Designer using AutoCAD or MicroStation.
  • 6+ years of experience with an Associate's degree or 2+ years with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Proficiency in design software including Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BlueBeam.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC), field installation best practices, and related concepts.
  • US Citizenship required to meet eligibility requirements for government security investigation.
