Sr. Director, Finance Operations and Manufacturing (USA, Remote)

Senior Director position leading finance operations and manufacturing for Danaher's IDT and Aldevron businesses. Responsible for connecting operational performance to financial outcomes across a multi-site manufacturing network in life sciences and biotechnology, reporting to the CFO.

Responsibilities
Serve as senior Finance partner to Operations and Manufacturing, connecting execution to financial outcomes and strategic decisions
Build and lead financial operating mechanisms to improve visibility across cost, capacity, quality, delivery, inventory, and profitability
Design and scale product costing, standard costing, cost accounting, and profitability frameworks across integrated operations
Support capital deployment, capacity expansion, manufacturing network planning, and investment decisions through rigorous financial analysis
Build, coach, and develop high-performing Operations Finance team and Finance Business Partner capability
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
15+ years progressive Finance leadership in manufacturing/operations with 5+ years leading senior teams
Demonstrated experience in multi-site operational finance within biotech, pharmaceutical, CDMO, medical device, or regulated manufacturing
Deep expertise in product costing, standard costing, cost accounting, COGS management, variance analysis, and profitability frameworks
Strong understanding of P&L management, inventory optimization, capital deployment, forecasting, and S&OP processes
Experience with ERP systems, enterprise reporting, KPI dashboards, and financial modeling
Ability to influence cross-functional leaders and drive transformation with accountability and disciplined operating mechanisms
