A leading academic medical center is seeking skilled nurses to establish and operate a new Intermediate Care (IMC) unit within its surgical division. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new team from the ground up, contributing to the development of a high-standard of postoperative and acute surgical patient care.

The Role

• Monitor and provide nursing care for post-operative and acutely deteriorating surgical patients.
• Perform IMC-specific nursing interventions, including monitoring, mobilization, infusion therapy, and wound/pain management.
• Participate in interprofessional therapy planning and structured handovers.
• Engage in interdisciplinary daily rounds and collaborate closely with the medical team.
• Implement and contribute to the development of standards and SOPs.

What You'll Need

• Completed training as a licensed nurse.
• Experience in an acute or intensive care setting is advantageous.
• Interest in IMC nursing and professional development.
• Strong teamwork, commitment, and sense of responsibility.
• For international applicants: Minimum B2 German language proficiency and recognition of foreign nursing qualifications.
