Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join a growing public accounting firm serving privately held businesses, business owners, executives, and high-net-worth individuals. This hybrid role is ideal for a tax professional with 3–5 years of public accounting experience who is looking to expand their expertise in tax compliance, planning, and advisory services while enjoying a flexible work environment.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, S corporations, and individuals.
- Prepare complex individual tax returns for business owners, executives, and high-net-worth clients.
- Conduct tax research and assist with tax planning strategies and year-round advisory services.
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and provide practical recommendations to clients.
- Communicate directly with clients to gather financial information and address tax-related questions.
- Collaborate with senior accountants and firm partners on client engagements and consulting projects.
- Assist with special tax projects and advisory initiatives.
- Maintain organized workpapers and ensure timely, accurate completion of client deliverables.
- Stay current on federal, state, and local tax law changes and accounting standards.
- Manage multiple client engagements while meeting deadlines and maintaining exceptional quality.
- 3–5 years of public accounting experience with a strong emphasis on tax.
- Experience preparing business entity and complex individual tax returns.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with periodic time in the Allentown, Pennsylvania office.
