Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in Java/J2EE application development, Salesforce, enterprise integrations, and Agile project delivery. The ideal candidate will lead complex technology initiatives involving Java-based applications, Salesforce platforms, APIs, cloud services, and enterprise systems from planning through production deployment.

The Technical Project Manager will work closely with software engineers, architects, Salesforce developers/admins, business stakeholders, QA teams, DevOps engineers, vendors, and senior leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with business and technical objectives.

Key Responsibilities

·        Lead end-to-end delivery of complex Java, Salesforce, CRM, API, and enterprise application projects.

·        Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables.

·        Partner with Java architects and engineering teams on application development, modernization, microservices, REST APIs, integrations, and production deployments.

·        Lead Salesforce implementation, customization, integration, migration, and enhancement initiatives.

·        Coordinate integrations between Salesforce and enterprise platforms such as ERP, financial systems, payment platforms, databases, and third-party applications.

·        Translate business requirements into technical deliverables and coordinate with architects and engineering teams on solution design.

·        Manage Agile/Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

·        Work with Product Owners and Technical Leads to prioritize product backlogs, define milestones, and establish release plans.

·        Track development, QA, UAT, deployment, production readiness, and post-production stabilization.

·        Manage dependencies across Java, Salesforce, middleware, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams.

·        Identify technical risks and remove project roadblocks through effective escalation and cross-functional collaboration.

·        Establish project governance, status reporting, RAID management, executive dashboards, and leadership communications.

·        Coordinate with offshore/onshore development teams and third-party vendors.

·        Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture, security, compliance, SDLC, change-management, and release-management standards.

·        Support technical modernization initiatives involving Java applications, Salesforce, cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, and CI/CD.

·        Monitor project KPIs, delivery metrics, resource utilization, milestones, budget, and overall project health.

·        Present project status, risks, dependencies, decisions, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

·        8+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, IT Project Management, Program Management, or Software Delivery.

·        Strong understanding of Java/J2EE enterprise application development and SDLC.

·        Experience managing projects involving Salesforce CRM and Salesforce integrations.

·        Understanding of Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, SQL, databases, and enterprise integrations.

·        Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, or related Salesforce solutions.

·        Strong understanding of API-based integrations, middleware, web services, and distributed systems.

·        Experience working with Agile/Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or hybrid delivery methodologies.

·        Strong experience managing technical teams consisting of developers, architects, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and business analysts.

·        Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar project-management tools.

·        Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, QA, UAT, release management, deployment, and production support.

·        Excellent communication, stakeholder-management, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

·        PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe, or equivalent certification.

·        Salesforce certification such as Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer, or Application Architect.

·        AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform experience.

·        Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, Maven, or other DevOps technologies.

·        Experience with Salesforce integration technologies such as MuleSoft.

·        Experience managing cloud migration or application modernization programs.

·        Financial services, healthcare, payments, or other regulated-industry experience
